With the Source finally starting to get a lil cred back now that it's "100% Benzino free," they release the "Fat Tape vol 1" cd with Koch, named after the section of the magazine known for highlighting not necessarliy the "hottest" songs out, but, the "phattest" (which is good if your actually really into hip-hop). The CD is basically an A-List of respected artists from AZ, Mobb Deep, Royce, The Clipse, Cormega, KRS-One. I could go on but you can just read the tracklist. Another strong point to this release is that it features a lot of DJ Premier beats, as well as production from E-Swift, Marley Marl, and more. Phat!
